Bingo Glossary
Coveralls: This is where the whole card must be covered to win. Also known as blackout.
Free Space: A square that you get free and counts towards the winning pattern.It is usually the center square of the card.
Early Bird: A bingo game that is played before the main session.
Chat Room: This is where you can chat and message fellow members,it is usually done on a screen or monitor.
Bingo Board: This is a board that displays the numbers in play.
Game Room: Some of the bingo halls divide the players into seperate rooms to play bingo.
Money Ball: This is where a number is drawn before the start of the game. If you then go on to win with that number your winnings are increased.
Bonanza Bingo: A progressive coverall jackpot, usually the 13th game to be played in the session.
Caller: The person who calls the numbers.
Dauber: An ink filled pen used to mark off the numbers.Touch the screen with it and it marks off the square.
GTI or TED: Electronic dauber system.
Hardway Bingo: Bingo in a straight line with no free space.
Minimum Buyin: The amount you must have spent to be eligable for prizes.
Progressive Jackpot: A jackpot that if not won, increases until it is.
Random Number Generator: An electronic machine that picks the numbers at random.
Speed Bingo: The numbers are called very fast and you can win in as little as 3 numbers.
Wrap up: The last game of the session.
